Help For Parents

Help is Available!

If you have an emergency, call 911.

Let Southwest Center be your LIFESAVER!

The Southwest Prevention office has books, videos and pamphlets on drugs and alcohol and tips and tools for parents. We also have Certified Prevention Specialists available to speak with you regarding specific prevention strategies to protect your kids from abuse. Please don’t hesitate to email or call us anytime.

If your child or someone you know is suffering from (or you suspect they might be suffering from) substance abuse, Southwest Behavioral Health Center has Drug & Alcohol counselors available to help.

  • Parents and community members can call and speak to a counselor about your situation.
  • The center also provides a Drug & Alcohol Screening to determine if an adolescent is using or addicted to drugs.
  • We also provide a mental health screening to determine what services would be most beneficial and how to access those services.

To speak to a Drug and Alcohol Counselor or set up a mental health assessment or a drug and alcohol screening, contact Sara at 435-634-5604 ( swilliams@swcbh.com ) and she will direct your call or put you in touch with a counselor.
